| Tom,
I have really been practicing hard. I now shoot at 30 using a benchrest front rest and rear bag. |

| Fast becoming one of my favorite rifles with its Leupy 2x7 and LR reticle.
With the Barnes 250 TSX at 2488 and zeroed at 200 yards, it is:
=+2.5 at 100 =0 at 200 1st dot is 265 2nd dot is 332 Top of Picket is 400 and bullet is still at 1600 fps
1600 fps is min expansion for that barnes bullet. Although, I doubt I would be taking a 400 yard shot with that rifle but nice to know.
Dot diamter on the 2x7 is 1.24 MOA, so 1/2 that is .62 MOA. So theoretically, one could use the bottom edge of the 2nd dot and the top of the picket as a bracket and have 372 yard hold index and the bullet is travelling ~1670 fps. But I doubt that, I could discern that fine of a hold on an object at 372 yards under field conditions. |

| A while back after first getting an interest in the 9.3x62 calibre, I decided to fill that void in my little 'harem'. I opted to go the 'inexpensive' route and picked up a Zastava M-70 full wood model from Tradex. I was amazed with the accuracy with my first handloads!! The action cycling could be a little smoother but good 'bang for the buck'accuracy wise. |

| Nice rifle Mike. Any blood yet? Should be perfect for most critters.

| Mike, nice rifle and looks like you've found an accurate load. I have the same scope on my CZ 9.3x62 and find it useable out to 300 yards with my current load using Varget and 250gr. Nosler AB's.

| Quite the nice silk purse you have, Mike. Inspired. What barrel do you have on it? |

| Interesting rifle but hard to believe you went from that beautiful 338/06 to this. It’s like your trying to win a frat house pig party.

| Douglas barrel; no need to use anything else if you want precision, accuracy, fast delivery, and best customer service of any barrel company, by a long shot. See what I did there? |

| It is an early 91-30 with the receiver like a 91, before they started making them round. Late 1930s. Ish. |
