I have a friend who built a hidden room behind the wood paneling in his den. The walls are steel reinforced concrete with a steel door, concrete floor and steel cage celling. You would never know it was there unless you where shown. It's like something out of the old BatMan show.

Allen, I was hoping that I would win the ACGG raffle and my plan was to setup a special safe for it that when you opened the door lights came on and music played. :-) thanks for telling me about these lights. I have a MAJOR problem with seeing in the safe. no joke, after sunset because I have no light close to that section of my large front room (office/never used gym/safe and camp gear) I can't see to open it. I have to keep a shop light there so that I can shine it around in there to find things. Red

Those stick on lights are a good idea. However one needs some heat in there to prevent condensation. On the safes that I don't want to drill a hole thru I run thin speaker wire around the door opening and hold it with tape. This is connected to a candleabra socket and a 4 watt bulb is left on. This prevents any rusting. On safes where the have a hole or say its just solid steel a 1/4" hole will let a 16 ga wire thru and then I wire a trouble light with a plug on it. A 4W night light is pluged into the trouble light and left on.

Hey Allen, Thanks for the good tip. I have a flashlight in mine that I use, but I'll certainly take a look at the ones you mentioned.
