I don't think this has been brought up yet but there are some issues with Remington's Rebates on some of their 700 sub-models with some being rejected.

I was fortunate to snag a 700 CDL Boone & Crockett in 7mm-08 on sale at Big R in Billings a few weeks ago. I put together a rebate form and send it off. I received an email that my $100 rebate was rejected. I called the Rebate Center and the gal said that several of the UPC codes were not listed as valid for the promotion.

Apparently Remington Arms is going to honor some of the UPC codes that were originally not included. The gal on the phone said that she is unsure that my rebate will be honored because the Boone & Crockett was a Limited Edition in 2008. She said it will likely take over a month to hear back from Remington.

If your UPC is rejected call the number on the email or post card immediately to get the ball rolling because it could add 4-6 weeks onto the expected 4-6 week process.
