Thanks for the posts guys,sad to hear about the problem with belted magnums and the encore.That would leave out a 338 win.mag because it`s got a belt also.That`s what I have read here before.This is my first encore of any kind and I love it.The 30-06 is okay but I want something a little different than all the other guys and something with a little more close to the 338 win. mag but with out a belt.
From what I have read the 35 whelen,338-06,9.3x62and 9.3x64
all do this also a 9.3x74r but the guy at cut rifle did`nt say he could do a 9.3x74r just the 9.3x62,9.3x64,338-06,and the 35 whelen.Plus nosler is loading factory ammo in just about all of these.The 35 whelen is available from Remington in 3 loads.The guys around here love this caliber!
my old football coach has a old rem.760 in the 35 whelen,and a custom mauser in the 35 whelen he had made.
I just need a few ideas from ya`ll which would give me the most bang for the buck here in Alabama and in Idaho and maybe Alaska. Thanks Ben Lee

Take the 9.3x62 great round, better than most of the others, if you can find ammo or bullets for it, the 9.3x64 is a bit more difficult, ammo is only loaded by RWS and cases is not that ease to get, but a great round
