Anyone got one of these? I'm thinking about one. How does it shoot. Whats the weight? Barrel length? Mag. capacity? Is the barrel flutted?

All finnlight barrels are fluted. kyou will want to see if you can get the new for 2004 short magnum size action. early finnlights for wsm were using the standard magnum action with a spacer. thats why I never got one yet. weight and barrel length etc is on teh web page: www://berrettausa.com may need to make sure about spelling of berretta etc. go to rifles and they have a nice chart of specifications.

I have a Finnlight in 300WSM and I am generally pleased with it. It is a good clean gun. Decent trigger. Have not yet hunted with it but have been working up loads. I agree with Jameister regarding the short action. If I had one regret, it was not getting the short action version but I just couldn't wait . The only other beef I have with it is the dovetail scope mounting arrangement. I bought good bases and rings but I tend to like belts and suspenders. I worry about those bases holding under all circumstances.

Douglast I have several Tikkas with the same mounts except they are parallel but the same principle as the Sakos. Never had a hint of a problem with them. They never move and I have also found that if you remove the scope in their mounts for transport etc and reinstall them they return to the same point of impact. I use the optilock factory mounts. Don't worry about them. They work real well.
