I earlier reported disappointing results with the new Model 70 Xtreme Sporter in .270 WSM using Re 19 and 130-grain Nosler BTs. Following advice from some folks here ( Thanks Don Nelson!), I tried 4831SC and groups went from 2 1/2 inches at 100 yards to holes touching. Also tried some loads with IMR 4350, but the rifle wasn't buying it. Next time I'll take the chrono along and will switch to my hunting bullet, the Barnes TSX.

Don't be surprised if you have to start over when you change bullets.
