Anyone have or shot a 338 Excalibur?
Anyone have any clue as to where I would find brass or how/what to make brass from?
Thanx in advance.

You can actually come very close to the Excalibur capacity by pushing the shoulder as far forward as you can on the .378 Weath case, same with the Rigby. I received an email from a gent who told me the .338/416 Improved is 40 degree shoulders with a .338 neck and 0.015" taper. That would put it within spitting distance of Excalibur capacity if Load From A Disk wasn't lying to me.
I think the Excalibur is wasted in a 25" barrel though. If guys in WWI could carry those long Gew98's and such, we can carry long barrels too.

Thanx for the info.
A 338-416 Rigby huh??????
I do have that NIB Ruger 416 Rigby.
Hmmmmm . . . . a rebarrel job on that??????
I'm think 28" to 30" for a barrel.
Thanx again.
If you want a powerful and accurate cartridge in .338 you can consider the most powerful .338 called 338/50 Talbot
Made with a .50 BMG round neck gown to .338.
For long distance shooting great and very accurate.

Thanx for the great feedback on this one.
I'm going to convert a Sako TGR=S 338 Lapua to the Lazzeroni 8.59 Titan.
All data shows that the Laz will hold +10grs more water than the Lapua.
I'm just looking for something to do with this Rigby if I can't sell it.
I'm thinking 300 Pegesus or something alomg those lines.
