Anyone used a 7mm/378 weatherby mag? What velocity can you get with 160gn bullets?

hjl, the velocities depending on the throat, barrel length etc. should be roughly the same as a 30/378 with 180's or maybe just a hair shy. 7mm/378 is pretty over-bore (if you're thinking about it as a project). If you want to give it a whirl, enjoy, otherwise you're probably better off with a 30/378 or something bigger to get the most bang for your buck.
