Well I just traded for this one and wanted to show it off a bit. It was bought new in a shop in Juneau Alaska in 1962, appears unfired since but I'll correct that soon. The white line spacers are a bit much but that was the style then. It's unmarked except for "The Alaskan Made in Belgium" on the barrel plus the usual Belgian proofs. Looking at the way the bolt is jewelled, and the side safety I'm guessing these may have been put together by Dumoulin, as they appear exactly like a marked example I have. Definately an FN commercial action, no sights but drilled and tapped for scope bases. It's a medium contour 24" barrel about .625" at the muzzle with a single crossbolt in the stock. Appears to be completely untouched, no glass bedding or any other improvements. Browningguy Houston, TX We Band of 45-70ers | ||
