HEY'
I am in the process of switching my mounts,to Talley. It' a weaver type base, but better design, and better quality.I also like his rings.I don't have to lap his rings.

I use only leupold rings and bases with the torx screws.I have never had a problem yet with this system.

Have had very, very good luck with leupold QR rings and bases on 300 and 338 Mags. Torx heads allow one to get the bolts tight without destroying the slots and the rings seem to go back to the same place every time.

Good luck!

I use leupold dual dovetails on everything unless I want a QD combo, then I use talleys. I've never used the millet's so I can't speak on them but I'm not impressed with either weaver or b-square.

Jason,
I've used Leupold bases and rings on most of my rifles and have never had any problems yet.I have also used Millett bases and rings without any problems. But Lewis50 had a Millett windage screw fail on his 338Win.Mag.
For what it's worth I've got Leupold rings and bases on my Browning A Bolt in 7mmRem.Mag. so far so good.

Weaver steel bases, Burris Signature Zee rings. The best thing since malted barley... JMO, Dutch.

I've used several different makes over the years and really like the Warne's. However, I just got a set of SK's projectionless that are really nice. You may want to check those out.

I like the burris or Leupold dual dovetail. I only use the Burris signature series rings. I have never had one slip, and they don't leave ring marks on the scope.
