My mate and I have ordered one but have heard nothing yet, if they shoot as good as they look I will be wrapped. They seem to have the right gear on them to shoot. But we have also considered the Sako TRG S. The reason we are leaning towards the AR 30 is the price. Even in AUS$ it is reasonable.

Hey PC, what does a TRG go for in Oz? Here the Sako is the cheaper of the two. Unless you're talking about the sniper rifle and not the sporting version, then they are about the same price. As for the shipping thing, the local dealerr is telling me he can't get them into Canada anymore, Armalite has to jump through to many export hoops. - Dan

Just as an after thought, the dealer did have one (an AR) in a couple of months ago, so some must have shipped before this happened. - Dan

The sako TRG normal rifle is 2000AUS and the sniper version is a little over 4000Aus. I will not hold my breath about being able to import the Armalite, I really hope we can though Dan.
