My two .358s, one a pre-'64 Model 70 FW, the other a Browning BLR, both have done well with 250 gr. Winchester Silvertips. My current working load with that bullet for the BLR is 45.0 grs. AA2520 over a WLR primer in Winchester brass. My previous powder charge was 45.0 grs Gevelot RP-3 which worked well in the M'70 but is too warm for mental comfort in the BLR. AC

In my 358, I like the 225 sierra for most game smaller han Elk in size. Larger game I would use the speer 250gr. It has a great track record, and will work very well in the 358.

Dutch, I missed the announcement of a Barnes Triple Shock X in .358" 225 grain. That is something I've been waiting for. Where did you see the announcement, and more importantly, where can a guy buy some? Jerry/AK

Me too, should be a good bullet for my Whelen. Wish they had made a 200/210 grain version for my 358, though. Dutch.
