Grafs now has these back in stock for ~$290/1000 shipped CONUS...just in case anyone cares. Good hunting, Andy ----------------------------- Thomas Jefferson: “To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”

They shoot well in my double, but I am not going to buy 1000. This does not seem to be a real good price, unless they have gone up recently. Peter. Be without fear in the face of your enemies. ACRecurve, Thanks for heads up!!! ------------------------------- Item Number: PPB93SP285 · Availability: In stock Quantity: 100 -- $31.59 500 -- $150.05 1000 -- $284.31 http://www.grafs.com/metallic/937 ------------------------------- Price has gone up some. IIRC, I think I paid about $20 for 100 about 2 years ago or so. Still, $31.59 for 100 isn't bad. The Speer 270 gr bullet is $19.79 for 50 (Graf's prices). -Bob F.

I have a couple hundred coming to me, they just shipped from Graf's today, during the shortage/backorder I collected a couple hundred Speers and some Norma Alaskan 286 grainers. Still a good price at 31.59 per C. Very accurate out of my 9.3 as well.

Peter, where are you buying jacketed bullets for less than 30-cents apiece in 9,3mm? Nosler's seconds are more than that, and they do not include shipping. Rich DRSS Knowledge not shared is knowledge lost...

They are more expensive compared to what they were prior to the long backorder, but still cheaper than the 270 Speer. As for quality, in my CZ they are quite accurate, though my load is 4gr off the maximum with RL-15. Since they are a standard cup and core design I'd expect them to work well on most anything though if I were shooting an Elk or Bear I'd want a Nosler just for reassurance's sake.

My bullets came in yesterday, and I loaded up a few to try. I have been loading the 250 gr Accubonds with 52 grs Varget, and I raised the powder charge on the 285's to 55 grs Varget. I was very pleased and surprised that they printed identical to the 250 gr Accubond load on paper. Now I can carry both loads and interchange them on game out to 100 yards (which is only as far as I have shot them). My Blaser 9.3x62 barrel is quickly becoming my favorite.

Yeah, they went up nearly $10 per hundred but they shoot so darn good in my Husky's and are still less expensive than the equally impossible to find Nosler seconds. So, what's not to like? Aut vincere aut mori

IdahoSS, I think that z1r answered your question. When I last bought Privi's they were right around $20 or $21 a hundred. They shot pretty well too, as did the Speer 270's. I honestly can't remember when I bought them , but it must have been within the last year or 18 months, as I have not had my 9.3x 74R for all that long. I have been waiting for the Nosler Partition seconds to come on sale for that long! Peter. Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Peter, you may wait awhile for that, and the PRVI 286's are IN at Graf's. I just ordered 500 more and 300 cases. Just in case CZ overestimates the buying public's taste, I intend to have a lifetime supply, and another rifle in this caliber. Rich DRSS Knowledge not shared is knowledge lost...

If Idaho S. hadn't bought so many before, the price would likely still be at $21.00!!!! It's the ole supply and demand thing I am sure. Graf took a look and figured Idaho and us others would buy in at a higher rate. All kidding aside, they do really shoot well in both my CZFS 9.3 X 62 and my Ruger #1 in 9.3 X 74R. Yes I am ordering some more, just to prove Graf's theory correct. Larry Sellers SCI Life Member

I snoozed and just about ran out of my $19.99/100 Previ bullets. They sure went up! I have to say that they have been the most accurate 9.3 bullets I've tried in my various 9,374Rs and 9,3X62 Husqvarna 649. I have killed only one deer with them, and it mushroomed and retained weight much like the 250gr Speer Hot Cores I shot in my 35 Whelen. They are just fine for the slower various 9,3 rounds. I would not use them in a 9,3X64.

yah!, but they load them in the 9,3x64 for the euro market. Have you had any issues with them? Rich DRSS Knowledge not shared is knowledge lost...

Luv2, I have some loaded in the 96 Swede 9.3x57 and the X 74R. I was wondering about the actual performance. Because I used the 308 last season I must do some practice with the 9.3s to be ready next season. I have about 600 of the Prvi but maybe I need a few more with 2 guns. Good shootin' Packy

Rich, Winchester loads Power Points in the 300 Win Mag, but I wouldn't use them, either. I was just about to find a 9,3X64 or have my 30-06 Husqvarna re-bored and chambered to the Brenneke, when Ruger came out with the 375 Hawkeye. I went with the 375 Ruger and don't regret it (duck N cover ). Judging from ONLY one animal taken...very limited...I am convinced the Previs are a bit soft for the Brenneke velocities. I like the bullet for everything I have. I also have had excellent results with the 270 Speers in my 9,4X74Rs, but I've not tried them in my 9,3X62. What I realy like about the Previs is that I can easily work out regulating loads in my past and present drillings, BBFs, and double rifles. After the post-surgery sell off, I have only a Simson drilling in 12ga and 9,3X74R and the Husq. I'll be getting a set of the very good Lothar Walther o/u barrels in 9,3 from Russ Gould for my last remaining Valmet 412S soon. Both of these guns will digest plenty of Previs, providing they don't get changed or fall out of the marketplace.
