Well after many months I finally had time to go shoot the new (1962 vintage) .300 Mag I traded for in January. The previous owner said it had never been fired and it certainly looks it. A fairly plain stock but it's servicable. I do like the way they jewel the bolts too. The only markings on it are Belgian proofs and "Alaskan Rifles Made in Belgium". The original box it was in has "Dumoulin Rilfle" pencilled on the end flap, so who knows. Anyway I grabbed 3 different cheap loads just to try, since I haven't had a 300 Mag for a while I don't have any handloads yet. The 150 gr. Federals really scared me, 4 1/2" pattern at 100 yards. I was kind of worried it was a combination of me forgetting how to shoot and something bad wrong with the rifle. Moved on to the 165 gr. Federals and the 3 shot groups came down to 1 1/4". Now I'm feeling a little better. Finally the 180 gr. Federals loaded with Sierra Gamekings (told you they were the cheapest I could buy), and the first group was 1.15", then the second group with these went .97". Happy at last!!! Tried the 150's again and back to 4-4 1/2" patterns so I gues this one likes the heavy bullets. Browningguy Houston, TX We Band of 45-70ers

No idea how many they made Sendero, the only thing I found after a couple of months of checking around is that they were built for a gun shop in Juneau Alaska. Can't find the notes with the name right now. Browningguy Houston, TX We Band of 45-70ers

I own a Savage 300 Win Mag That I've had rebarreled three times. But anyway my stock is very simular to your 300's stock. Good shooting to ya.

Beautiful Firearm and a great cartridge at that! My great grandfather had one just like and he hunted all over with it and killed a moose and a few big Mulies a long time ago. Too bad my uncle traded it off becuase he owed a guy beer money in college. Good luck to you with it! -Everybody has a dream hunt, mine just happens to be for a Moose.- -The 30-06 is like a perfect steak next to a campfire, a .300 Win Mag is the same but with mushrooms and a baked potato-
