Hi everyone!

Can anybody help me? I'm a 26 y.o man from Norway.
I seek all possible information about the 9,3x57 caliber.
Does anybody use it? and what is your experience? Any favorite bullet i the 9,3x57?

I have custumized a Husquarna 146 9,3x57 myself.
With a laminated stock(too heavy [Smile] ), a Kahles 4x scope and a timey trigger. I use Normas Alaska 286gr now.
Mybe I'll try out the new Oryx or woodleigth??

Hi HVA164 to start of nice choice for a rifle, I my self has a 9,3*62.

Bullets, dont use the Alaska bullet on anything but paper, if you do a search on Norma and or Alaska om this site you will se others who feel the same, the bullet will fail you.

In the *57 the lighter Oryx bullets (232 grains?) or maby even the Nosler BT at 250 grains will vork outstanding, the heavier 286 grains bullets will not be getting enough speed to expand relably at slightly longer ranges. There are RWS bullets and some Sako bullets that are in the 232 grains area and they will work like a charm.

Look at www.norma.cc for reloading data.
Use the Oryx 286 grains since its perfect for the 57. At V0 710m/s in a 9,3x62 it will turn it self inside out at 50 meters.
It will expand reliably in the 9,3x57.
