Guys,
Just wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing Woodleigh bring out a 225gr PP SN? It's not currently listed which is a real omission in my eyes.
Personally I'd love one for the 358Win, and think it would be sweet in the current 350RemMags given their limited magazine lengths. The Whelen would do well with it too. It's traditional for the 350 Rigby Magnum. Any thoughts... ? Also thinking a 275gr RN SP would be great to make the 35Whelen the ballistic equivalent of the 9.3x62.
Cheers...

Sounds like sweet music to me Con...
If someone can make them go for it.....I will sertanly buy !!
The 250 Woodleigh is my #1 bullet in the 35 Whelen, but could defenately use some company.
The 225 would be great on red stag and the 275 on moose and bears.

M98,
I've emailed and will probably give him a call after I finish with his 300gr in the 35Whelen with 1:16" and my 358Win with its 1:14".

PC,
Now don't get cheeky mate, that bloody Ruger of yours and their current price has me making some calls today in regards to a stainless/synthetic, but in 350RemMag Big Grin. Missus watched a video of herself riding the Anglo-Arab last night and reckons she needs a new saddle. That's $2500. She's also ordered a horse float, that's $8500. I see a bargaining chip coming for a cheapy Ruger clap clap

Maybe I need a .350 stainless Ruger................................ Confused are they on a short action and what barrel length do they have Con and what overall length is the gun.

There to cheap not buy as many as you can get at the moment !!

Pity I have run out of money, but six months is a while away !!

I paid out some shitty debts and give Ross Waghorn 2/3 of the .404 J stock money so I am out and I hate it Frowner

M77R MKII .350 Rem Mag
Barrel Length: 22"
Overall Length: 42"

I'm fairly certain they are made on the short action. Ruger doesn't list the twist rate on their web site or in their 2005 catalog.

My guess is that they won't stay in the catalog for long. Get 'em while you can!!

I've seriously thought about getting one of the M77 Rugers in .350 Rem Mag. It should be a neat little package. But, I've got a Ruger M77 in .338 Win Mag and a CZ 550 in 9.3x62 so I've pretty well got that niche covered.

Well, the Tang safety Ruger 77 in .350 mag. was 1 in 16", as are their .358 Win. and .35 Whelen. I'd be willing to bet that the new ones are 1 in 16" twist as well.

PC,
They're on the short-action. Perfect 458x2" later in its life Cool. At the moment even Highland hasn't got them in their catalogue. I'm paying $880 to cover any possible price increase Roll Eyes and worst case scenario is production stops and I end up with a stainless Ruger 338WinMag instead.
Order...order...order... 6 months is ample to save pennies and they WILL be a collectable on the Australian market. Look nicer then the Rem 673 as well and half the price.
Cheers...
