Hello guys, I need a little advice. What is the best factory ammunition, and non-premium bullet combintaion in your opinion. Remington & Core-Lokt, Winchester & Power Point, or Federal & Speer Grand Slam. I will be using it on Pennsylvania deer. What would you choose?

For PA deer, any of those you noted should do fine. Pick the ammo that shoots best in your rifle.

I agree with Virginia7. Whichever shoots the best in your rifle (and weighs at least 150 grains)would be the one to choose. Good luck hunting.

I had a chance to shoot a pump action Remington 30-06 over Christmas of last year (while in Pennsylvania!) and it shot around an inch or so with green box Remington 180 grainers.

Just buy a couple different boxes of ammo and try some different stuff. For deer, just shoot what the gun likes best.

Bought a second hand 7mm a couple weeks ago and the fellow gave me a box of hornady custom with it.Looks like the factory loads are a lot better now.
I would try the remington in 165 or 180 gr first they are usually less expensive and usually shoot good.

I have the synthetic carbine model, go with the Federal and Grand Slam.
