Opinion of rifle of model row Marlin XL/XS and XLS/XSS.
Hi.
I see sufficiently a lot of positive reviews on the site of Gauze about these models Marlin XL/XS and XLS/XSS.
However much it is there is no information from considerable representatives which arrange the review of weapon.
Models Marlin XL/XS and XLS/XSS indeed so good or it is a not high-quality cheap commodity.
Objective Opinions, suggestions and information welcomed.
Thank you for an answer.

I may be a little late, but here goes. Marlin X guns are wonderful rifles. They're accurate, they feel good, and they aren't heavy. They are worth more than what the price suggests. I got mine for about 300 $ and it is a wonderfully accurate rifle. So, if you're thinking about getting one, do get it. You WILL NOT regret it.

I piked up a 308 this week because I wanted a cheap "bad weather" rifle. Most of my other rifles are walnut. I'm used to Mauser actions so the Marlin feels a little like a toy. For the money, I don't think you can beat it. I weighed mine on the kitchen scale at 6.6 lbs with the included scope mount. I did cycle a few shells through and the ejector is a little weak. Shells flop out of them instead of being thrown.

The trigger is a nice feature that sold me the gun over others in that pice range. It's like an Accutrigger. Mine felt a little heavy but it is adjustable and there is ZERO creep.

I plan on taking it to the range before the month is out. So far, it seems to be a great value for $300. I'm just used to Rugers, Kimbers, and CZs so it feels a little cheap to me especially when I cycle the action.

My XL7 has a rather strong ejector, it tosses empties rather well.

And the Pro Fire trigger is nice, I have mine set at about 4 lbs. I like the trigger the way it is, not too heavy and not too light.

I bought each of my sons XL 7's in .270 Win. So far they have worked fine. They are very tough on gear so their guns will be put to the test.
