How do these bullets perform on game... deer or anything else? How about elk? I've used them to fireform and target shoot but I haven't hunted with them. I've been thinking about buy a couple thousand (cause they're cheap)and use them for everything. Max velocity will be around 2600fps.
I tried doing a search and it brought up everything with mm and 180 in it.

Thanks in advance!!

I assume these are the Rem bullets you are talking about. I've used them in the 8 Mauser, 8mm-06 Ackley, 8 X 68S, and the 8 Rem Mag. They work good on game up to elk size in the first two, but get pushed too fast in the last two. FWIW - Dan

I used the factory 185 gr. ammo in the 8mm Mag when I first bought it. I've only killed whitetail deer and armodilloes? with it. It is explosive on either animal and ruined a lot of meat on the deer.
