The 9,3 x 66 was designed to hold 4 shots in the T3 magazine. We will probably be able to get them Aleko

I've red a few articles about it. Performance seems to duplicate the old 9.3x64. The accuracy in the tests haven't been impressing. I don't see any need of it even if it is a good cartridge. Here in Sweden will it not be popular because the 9.3x62 is already established. And if any one needs a faster 9.3 the classic 9.3x64 probably is the choice because RWS will make brass a long time forward!

I just returned from the range after testing the new 9,3x66 Sako. A sako-beretta representative had a local promotion day. FYI the new cartridge is a standard 06 type case 66 mm long with a short neck thus increasing the case volume. Sako offers four loads; 250 grs Nosler SB at 2755 fps, 286 grs Hammerhead at 2560 fps, 286 grs Barnes X at 2540 fps and a 286 Barnes solid at 2560 fps. This sounds pretty useful to me. But going to Africa with it means a lot of prayers that the ammo bag arrives..like with a wildcat. The rifle was a stainless 75 model with a godawful gray plastic-rubber stock and an even worse muzzlebrake. Push-fed. You could fire it all day if it wasnt for the irritating blast of the brake in your face. Id take the recoil any day. But what made me happy was that the sales rep told me they will make a 416 with the classic safari stock and controlled feed, like on the anniversary .375 H&H model. Somebodys using his wits at Sako! Boha
