I have been heavily evolved with the development of the ACP bullets here in Australia and am proud to say they are performing above and beyond our expectations in terms of accuracy and terminal performance.

The latest one sent to me to try was a light for calibre 190 grain .366" hollow point.

I used Quick Load to work up a load for them and over the Chrony I got the following results

Zastava 9.3 x 62 with a 24" barrel.
Col of 83mm using Fed 215 primers, Highland brass and 2206H powder.

63.5 Grains = 3020, 3023 fps
64.5 grains = 3037, 3045 fps(load I will use)
65 grains = 3065, 3075 fps (sticky bolt lift)

Here are the 190's with some 286 grain Woody PP's.

Loaded rounds.

The target I shot in the rain with the 6 shots.
The first 63.5 grain shot only just hit the top right hand corner of the target so I had to shift the scope down another 10 clicks and 15 to the left to fire the rest.

The 64.5 grain load shows promise but the 65 grain load is too hot and not much gain. The barrel was getting warm after 6 fast shots.

Right.....

I knew where there was a boar living not far off the tar because he gave Rocket the slip the other day.

Took the 190 grain ACP's and walked the couple of hundred yards into the timber where I saw him last.
I went to his favourite camp but he wasn't there but his tracks were. jumping

Followed them and came to his current camp and could see him laying in there about 15 yards away.
His camp that I took a photo of after the event.

Not happy to shoot him laying down I yelled out to him "HEY" !!!

He got up and took off at light speed running to about 1 o'clock.
I put the cross hair of the 2-7 on his guts of the off side and pulled the trigger.
He piled up dead. dancing
Entry.

Exit.

Damage to the heart that must have been full at the time the bullet hit it.

Looks like the 9.3 just went "MAGNUM". hilbily

F-B,

Waidmannsheil, nice Porker, good story & super photos, too. I really like the view through the Keiler's pump.

O.K. - I'm sold; where can I obtain some of these 190 gr. 9.3's?

If they're priced more reasonably than Dr. Müller's monometals, you've got a winner.

Cheers,

Number 10

So long as they're not trying to pay off the CNC milling machine straight away, I'll be in.
Too often people come out with a great product, priced beyond reason.
Which is why I'm still with Nosler and Barnes.

The speed of sound (Mach) in standard atmosphere is approximately 1100 fps. You've got a few hundred fps to go before reaching Mach III, but 3,000 is pretty fast for that cartridge.
