For powder in my 300 Rem Ultra Mag I use H1000.
Using that I can get Max loads.

I HAVE FOUND H1000 TO BE A GOOD POWDER FOR THE 7MM ULTRA, BUT JUST CAUSE I COULD, WANTED TO TRY RETUMBO AND WAS VERY WELL PLEASED. I FOUND THAT WITH THE SLOWER BURN RATE MORE POWDER ALSO MEANT LESS AIR VOID WHICH HAS A TENDENCY TO IMPROVE ACCURACY !

WC-872 and Hogdons US-869 work well with that heavy weight

artic70,

I worked up a load with my custom 300RUM and the 200 Lapus Naturalis; 215M primer, Nosler case and a charge of 93.5grains of N570 gave 3148fps.........with great accuracy.
