I just bought one of these in a 30-06 cartridge.Built 1957,22" barrel.Nice double square bridge Mauser,first one I've ever seen.The front site is missing and the recoil pad has been changed,otherwise original.What can you tell about it? Alf...you out there?

The ZG-47 is one of the nicest mausers to me. I guess your rifle has a mate glas penned finnish one the action?

The gun is worth quite a bit in USA soo I hope you stick to it. if you don't like the rifle I suggest you save the action for a good custom gun project
