Thanks for the post Bob, I'm thinking of using the same bullet in my 7mm Rem Mag this Spring for Black Bear.

i bought some tmm 140's and when compared to the same TSX they have 4 grooves vs. 3 and they are longer with a slightly different profile

yep NBF was the man, i had 2 fight with him @ shiloh, murfreesboro, chickamauga, and others

got any good passed down NBF stories or trinkets?

They just sold his saber at auction..........

And I have my gg grandfather's saber on the wall, looking at it right now. He commanded the 15th Tennesee Cavalry, CSA and was killed in the approach to battle for Spring Hill and Franklin.

I got a bunch of the 168-grain TTSX's loaded up and ready to go to the range. Just waiting on the rifle to get finished.

The non lead bullets are too expensive. I load thousands of rounds a year. Such a bullet would raise my cost to over a dollar a shot! A dollar a shot????

There is more than one right answer to a optimum bullet.

If the cost goes down then of course I am interested.
