Just picked up a Winchester XPR. This inexpensive rifle looks like a shooter with Hornady Precision Hunter 200gr ELDX. Does anyone have a good starting recipe for 180 grainers? have a look: https://imgur.com/r4UyieP

You will get lots of advice here and also do a search on the Reloading Forum. I did that and very recently started loading for my Browning X Bolt in 300 WSM. 180gr Federal Fusions with 64.5 grains of IMR4031 gives me very good accuracy.

Mine's a shooter, but then I don't reload. I buy semi-custom factory loads for it. The other thing with mine that I found is that I finally had to order the specific XPR scope mounts from Winchester in order to get my rifle and scope to shoot properly. Once I did that, then my Swarovski scope and rifle properly functioned and was on the money. Go figure.

thanks gentleman. mine came with a Vortex already mounted, see no need to change at this point. I have 3 other Vortex and I like the glass, haven't had any issues and I like the 2nd focal plane reticle.
