Ok here goes- for a novice, what is the best brand of reloading equip. to buy to load a few hunting rounds each year? If you read all the ads. everyones ads. claim theirs is the greatest & easiest to use since sliced bread.

Kinda depends on what you mean by "FEW." The little Lee presses are pretty good value if by "few" you mean a few boxes per year. Actually they will stand up to a lot more than this, but they require more ummpfh from you because of mechanical advantage etc.

Next to this I would recommend RCBS. They've been around a long time, work great, are strong as an ox (so you don't have to be) and they are well made. You won't live long enough to wear one out. I would recommend the RCBS Rock Chucker. It's a good press and hell for strong.

Avoid turret presses.

Probably more important than the press is the dies you choose. RCBS makes good loading dies for about every cartridge. But I think Redding dies are even better.

I've used Lyman and Hornady reloading equip and dies as well and didn't much like it, especially their dies.

If you want to crank out a LOT of bullets, go with Dillon. They make great progressive presses and are a super company to deal with. (But I don't recommend them if you are just starting out loading.) Get some miles on you with a good single stage press like the Rockchucker from RCBS.
