Ok finally I got the opportunity to sight in my sako 75 hunter WSM .300. After 4 rounds I started to flinch because that bastard kick so damn hard... well harder than my 06. the stock fits me nicely but for such an expensive rifle couldn't they have thrown in a better recoil pad! I did a search on the net and in here also but there seems to be no pad for sako. Any advice is welcome!

thanks!

Try the Limbsaver web site. They do not show a pre-fit pad for your gun but you can check the template files to see if another model will fit your gun. Otherwise look to the Grind-to-fit or Slip-On models. These recoil pads are GREAT.

I believe the Sako 75 pads are glued on as a cost saving measure. You'll need a band saw to cut off the factory pad and then you'll have to drill holes in the buttstock for the screws to hold a pad upgrade. Just about any pad would be a improvement on the factory pad. I like kick eaze Good luck! FNMauser
