what rifles are most similar to Weatherby Mark V, not only in apparance but also in how they feels?

(i'm asking because we don't got a dealer, and i was thinking of a slower cartridge choice.
i know i could build up a rifle on a MkV action, but that is not the question right now.)

The closest to a MK5 would be its cheaper sister rifle - the Vanguard. Whilst the action is not quite the same, the stock is the same shape and the 2 rifles certainly look similar.

You could consider a Vanguard but the MK5s are available in non Weatherby calibers like the 308, 30-06 etc if you wanted one.

I love the MK5s but there is certinly nothing wrong with a Weatheby Vanguard either - maybe just a little work on the trigger and you have a great rifle for the money.......
