I am looking for some info on a Savage 110 I recently acquired. The serial number is F090006, I have looked and cant find anything on the net. The bases appear to be expoxied or soldered to the receiver and I am looking to change them out to some leupold standards for the windage adjustment. Right now I can not zero the scope because I run out of windage to the right. Any ideas or thought would be greatly appreciated.

Should just be the std Savage action. The bases are likely weaver bases # 46 front and #61 rear. They may be installed with epoxy over the screws. Try tapping the epoxy with an awl or small punch to remove the epoxy then the screws. Simple to install the Leupold bases

Burris makes a ring that mounts on a Weaver style base that has inserts for windage or elevation adjustments.
I forget what they are called "posi lock" ?

They were soldered on, did alot of research on the net and finally found that Savage made this particular mess one year (1989 i think), anyway it was discontinued thankfully. I took a torch and heated them up and removed after shooting it. Whoever had this gun could not have killed much with it because it shot about a 5 inch group at 50 yards. I have already ordered a replacement ER Shaw barrel, and will be drilling and tapping the receiver for a one piece standard base.
