I'd say you're done with load development, unless you need a heavier bullet for bigger game. Congratulations on having such a good shooter! My first 9.3x62 was a Husqvarna, and I thought the stock shape contributed to more recoil than expected. Since then I've acquired two others--a Blaser R93 Synthetic and an Oberndorf Mauser "Special African"--and both have lower felt recoil than the Husqvarna.

You may be right. The straightness of the stock does seem to make sure all the recoil is transfered straight back. The fact that mine , as well as many others I have seen, have a crack at the tang also backs this up. My stock also has a comb addition as the low original comb was nearly impossible to get a good cheek meld on to use the scope. As a FN98 action, I believe the rifle should fit in any K98 type stock with a sporter barrel configuration. I'll see what Richard's Microfit has available. I'll have to keep a classic look of some type of course.
