First, does a whitworth come in the 300 win mag chambering? I was thinking of buying one in the 30-06 chambering and having it rechambered to the 300 win mag. Anyone know if this would work or have tried it before? What would it cost to have it rechambered? If it's not too much to rechamber from 30-06 to 300 win mag (and it would work in a whitworth) it seems like it could be a good way to get an affordable, smooth feeding rifle. Any thoughts? Thanks.
