My .300RUM is a Remington SF Sendaro (No brake)the stock is a good design and it has a good recoil pad. I don't find the recoil to be bad at all with 180gr loads.

The grand ol' Holland's Super .30 (aka the .300 H&H Magnum).

The only two .30 calibers I own are .30-06 (3) and .300 H&H (1). Two that are still hard to beat.
