I have two, a 243 coyote rifle and a .30-06 general purpose rifle. Both are outstanding for accuracy and are easy to shoot well. At first blush, I was hesitant over the plastic, but it has turned out as durable as the plastics used in the Glock and SigPro pistols, very tough and reliable. Great rifles for the dollars spent. http://www.flickr.com/photos/g...es/l/in/photostream/ Best

I bought one in 300wsm at Cabelas last winter when they went on sale. It shoots just about everything I load for it 1 1/2" groups or less with several loads shooting cloverleafs. My shooting stand ain't the best so the groups would probably really tighen up if I sandbagged it. I upgraded to it from a Tikka T3. The T3 beat the piss out of the tips of my bullets just from packing it. Its problem was the totally plastic clip that the bullets slid back and forth in. The A7 has a metal feed lip on its clip that eliminates the bent bullet tips. I also bought it just because it felt better to shoulder than the T3. I'm not sure that it shoots any better than the T3 though, they both shoot great.

Being 50% finn I am bias to Sako/Tikka but they produce very fine firearms anyways. The barrel has more to do with accuracy than the action and there is nothing wrong with their tri bolt action. The new TC ICON is based on this same action and look at the accuracy results their getting. Captain Finlander
