where can I find custom bottom metal for Spfd. 1903

custom bottom metal is going to have to be just that, custom from a smith. As far as I have been able to find there are no companies that produce it, like Blackburn.

There are a couple of smiths that do that work well. some of the guys here have posted some pics in the last year I would say of springfield work they have had done with custom hinged floorplates etc. that look great. I wish I could remember who has the gun and who did the work. try doing a search on the gunsmithing forum.

As far as extra parts for yours, try Jouster, it is a website for collectors and they often have extra parts or parts taht aren't perfectly original so they don't want them. good place to go.
