Decided instead of picking up my Wby Mk V 280 Rem which I put on LAW on a semi-wim, to have my gunsmith build my 280 on the 1903 action he already has of mine. SO, I put that money towards my antelope gun which was already on LAW and almost ready to come home. This just gave me the push to get it home.

Winchester Mod 70 Coyote 7mm WSM, dark red/brown laminate heavy stock with round forend, heavy 24" matte black bbl. I can already tell its going to need a new trigger, but other then that, I'm tickled pink. It was on clearance for 500$ a few months back so I had to snag it.

Got brass, got powder, got bullets, just need dies and a scope. For now I might pilfer my brothers spare Niko Sterling just to have a backup elk rifle in 3 weeks. After that I'm looking at maybe a Zeiss 4.5-14x44 Conquest or Nikon Monarch 4-14x42. I'll be trying out some 150gr NBT's in front of some RL-22 and 4350, and maybe some 150gr Accubonds for elk.

Good choice on the Coyote and great price. I have several friends that have a Model 70 Coyote both wsm and wssm, all shoot extremely well.

If I can swing the money before its gone, this ones little brother will be coming home too. Its a Coyote 25wssm, but its on the blonde laminate stock with a stainless barrel.
