One of Us He would be better off with a rifle that fits and being shown how to shoulder it properly. Shooting that way is a good way to get scoped and possibly develop a serious flinch/aversion to recoil.

I like the pic but...I really think you need to spend some time with his grip. His forward hand is way to close to his trigger finger.
You don't have to be the best shot....Just the last shot.

One of Us He can't get cut with a scope that isn't there. And best of all it'll be darn near impossible to shoot himself in the foot with a rifle that long. I sure this pic will remind him of happy memories when he gets older
