Hello folks, I have refinished the stock on my Model 770,and I'm now working up a load for 150 grain Sierra Spitzers ,if you have any pet loads please let me know ...I also found the recoil buffer worn out and repaired it with glue, but I found a company in Colarado that now makes replacement recoil buffers ,5 for $50.00 (I have yet to shoot the gun with the new recoil buffer ....) Also I have had the action apart and have noted in the take-down manual that there is no mention of any lubricant for the bolt etc ??? does this gun run dry ???? I shot thirty rounds thru the gun the other day and got a 3" group at 100 yards ,I know I can do better and I think the gun will do better with the correct reloads....this gun hurles the brass so far that recovering it from the grass and water puddles is impossible ....so my next project it some type of wall to stop the brass at the shooting bench .... I am also going to buy a "cheek riser" from Midway,as the scope is mounted very high on the rifle with the quick release scope mount and it is difficult to rest your check on the standard stock.... Otherwise I find this rifle to be another hobby of getting it to be accurate ,and good looking at the same time ,so any and all input would be appreciated .....I think I'm the only one in this area to own one of these rifles... Thank-you Bigbird34

No lubricant! Especial no lube on the roller locks! As a soldier I had the G3 and we never greased the bolt parts. Martin
