Sure was neat reading the magazine! I liked the announcement of the 358 Norma.

Fascinating article on a short lived cartridge. 160 grain .257-anyone look up the S.D. on this one? .32 or thereabouts maybe? Kind of outWeatherbyed Weatherby. I also saw an article in the issue on the .22 JGR, a .32 necked down to .22. Finally - think it's too late to order 1911's for .$39.75 or 1917's for $29.75? Maybe stock up on Great Westerns? The 257 Condor is actually listed on QL. About 6gr smaller than the 257 Wby. QL also lists a Condor Improved that is basically the same as the Wby. No listing for a 160gr bullet that I can find. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

There is one such gun listed on gunbroker: http://www.gunbroker.com/Aucti....aspx?Item=464150403 "though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression." ---Thomas Jefferson

Wrong forum but interesting reading indeed. I wonder if you could cut off the locking lugs from the .257 Condor and fire it while holding the bolt forward with your thumb? Worked with the .22JGR! .
