Every Cooper rifle I see for sale has a test target that looks like this one.

Are these targets shot at 100 yards ??

You are correct they are shot at 50 yards and the rifles are produced by a company that supports politicians that are anti gun... Coopers Arms owner Dan Cooper is wierd

I think they fired his ass for supporting Obongo.

Deep irony huh ? Being "fired" from the firearms company that bears your name for
supporting an anti-gun politician.

Too bad. They do make some nice rifles though.

I can believe 50 yards. Still damn good for
sporter barrels.

see this article about firing --

Well shit...they use handloads tailored for the gun, and at 50 damned yards most every gun in my safe can do just as good. AND most of em ain't $2500 either! AND I have a lot of em too. People that think this is great for a $2500 gun are nuts! My Weatherby Ultra Lightweight 06 can do that...at 100 yards. PLUS Roy did not support assholes!!!

One of the gun mags (I can't remember which)tested a cooper rifle a couple months ago. The made a point of mentioning that the groups they got were nowhere near as good as the test target. I think they averaged a little less or a little more than an inch with various types of ammo. I'm pretty suprised to hear that the groups are shot at only 50 yards. I just assumed they used a machine rest of some type.

You gotta admit, it's been an extremely effective marketing tool.

Cooper/Obama Firearms will have to work a heck of a lot harder than a free target to get any of my hard earned money.

The groups would be a lot tighter if the target was a picture of Danny's ball bag.
