this is picture of my brother Ronnie and my mother Lucille. We are at my uncle Guy and Aunt Carol's house in Odessa Texas.
Ronnie is holding my Grand mother's Stevens .410 and Lucille is holding my Uncle Guy's brand new Mauser action, Bishop stocked 30-06. Circa 1949-1950. I was 3 years old, Ronnie was 2.

I am holding the rifle. Ronnie the shotgun.

My uncle would mount a Weaver scope in Sith Mounts to the rifle. Now flash forward to November 20, 2010-
My son-in-law Christopher and his first buck.
Please note the rifle he used. Same scope, same mounts.

I guess good things then are still good things today?
