My second oldest son Austin is 14 and wanted a 300 for his first rifle. I got his brother now 15 a 30-06 two years ago and expected another similar caliber for the second son.

So anyways I picked up a Weatherby Vanguard in 300 Win mag from a co-worker and here is the first trip to the range for Austin at 100 yards.

The first four shots are the group in the middle which were Remington Corelokt ultra 180 grain. The second four he shot are Barnes 200 Grain TSX at the lower right bulleye.

Looks like I will be loading more of the 200's for him.
