| I haven't, nor have I heard of anybody that has. I have a t3 lite in 270 wsm and the thing I love the most about it is how it feeds perfectly every time from that center feed magazine. What is your gun chambered in? It might just be a flaw in your magazine. |

| Sounds like weak spring in the clip. Try a different clip and see if the problem stops. |

| Always cycle a rifle firm and fast. I have a t3 and have filed a leaning edge in my mags. |

| My Ruger M77 Hawkeye does the same thing but when I cycle the bolt a bit more firmly it never fails. While at the range, I purposely operate the bolt slowly to keep from sending the spent cartridge to the next county.
Start young, hunt hard, and enjoy God's bounty.

| yeah I fully agree, a bolt needs to be cycled firmly and I've never experienced this before...until i had a someone unique huting situation. I happened on the 'dive' when I had shot one deer and it flopped... and upon the shot, another nanny doe (8 in all) pegged me in the tree and got really hinky. I was in the middle of extracting the spent brass after the shot when she pegged me so had to go into slow motion so as not to spook the deer with the noise. They were within 15yds.
It may be a fluke of a situation as I've never had to slow cycle the bolt before while hunting. but since it happended, I've tested over and over and can get it to replicate once every 3-4 rounds. To answer an earlier question. It is a .270 i had rebarreled to 7x57. It's pretty long throated so I seat pretty long with the Nos AB's. I'd think the difference in COAL shouldn't be a factor. I thought I read once that Kimber uses the same magazine for all their rifles, they just insert a spacer in the front of the mag to take up the necessary space depending on caliber. |
