| Right now i love the Nosler 140 or 160 gr Accubonds in 7MM Rem Mag. I have found they are the most accurate bullets I have ever shot in 28 yrs of shooting this rifle. RL 22 for the 140 and Retumbo for the 160 as far as powders. |

| I vote for Nosler's 160 grain partition. Fast and accurate, it hasn't let me down yet. |

| The only bullet that my 7 Mag shoots accurately is the 140 grain TSX.

| In any discussion of the belted 7mm cartridges it is worth observing that their reputations were made in the 1950s and 1960s using the 175gr Nosler Partition over max loads of original 4831. For retained energy over distance and superior sectional density the 175gr Noslers are still a good choice. Their terminal performance is a matter of record for over 50 years. My chrono'd loads with the Nosler 175 and IMR 7828 average 2990 from a 23" bbl, 2924 from a 24" bbl. Both these barrels are from the same maker, cut with the same reamer. Go figure. There are probably better powders today than 7828, but I've been using it for over 20 years and it works for me.
Good luck, and good shooting.

| My 7MM Remington is now a dedicated deer gun. I use the 139 Gr. Hornady Interlock with 68.0 Gr of IMR 4350 Hornady Vol II. velocity is 3350 + from a 26" barrel. Bang flop! The longest deer this load has collected was 500 yards. |

| GS Custom High Velocity 130gr at 3400fps. Highly successful on Impala, Blesbuck, Bluewildebeest, Redhartebeest, and Kudu - minimum meat damage. Complete penetration, one shot kills with proper shot placement. The most reliable bullet available.

| Rob1SG Are You shooting the original Barrel on Your 7mm Mag.. After 28yrs I would think that there would be a ordinal line of succession in barrels for this chambering... That is if You shoot it a lot.. 160 gr. Failsafe..73gr. H-1000..215M Fed.. In my Rifle this has been "Bad to the Bones".. AK |

| akrange, The original barrel was replaced a few years ago it never shot well 1.5 to 2" 3 shot groups I'm shooting a Shilen 25" I have since loaded Hornady 139IB 154 SP 162 BT, Nosler 160 175 PT 140 150 BT in this barrel and the Accubonds are the most accurate ever. The 160 load shoots .63 at 200 yds and the 140 is better. |

| My go to bullet has been the 160grNP for everything. At 3000fps+ it shoots flat out as far as one should shoot & kills deer to elk well.

| Probably would have been easier if you'd asked which bullet my 7s didn't like They shoot quite well w/ 150 NBTs, 150 Solid bases, 140 ABs, 160 ABs, and 160 Sierra BTSPs. Really the only bullets I haven't had great luck w/ were the Swift Scir. and even they shot sub moa to just a hair over moa. I'm zeroed at 250 w/ 160 ABs over 66grns of R22 in one 7 which I used for my Elk and Mulie. In the other 7 I'm zeroed @ 200 w/ 150 Solid Bases over 66.5 grns of R22 which I intend to try on some whitetails if the bucks will hurry and show themselves. Both loads lit w/ 215 GMMs. Good Luck Reloader |

| I also liked the 150 solid base Noslers for deer hunting at 3050-3100 fps. I have been out of them for years. I almost exclusively use 175 partitions and RL22 at 2900 fps or so now.

| 150 NBT, IMR4831, WWbrass, Fed 215 Gold Medal prmr 150 Scirocco, IMR4350, all else same 175 partition, IMR4831, all else same. I could go on but I don't need more than these 3. I got a moa load with 160 partitions too with IMR4831.

| Anybody tried RE25 with the 160's or 175's? I've had very good luck with Sierra 160 BTs and H870. Also accurate over 7828. Plenty accurate and a good all purpose bullet up to big muleys. Past that, NP's. |

| My brother's 7mmRM has taken an incredible number of animals and most were taken with the Federal Premium 160gr Nosler Partition.
I was shooting 160 Sierras today working up a load, and got the best results with the following powders from best to good: RL22, 7828, and 4831. All velocities were in the 2900-3000fps range. I can't wait to try it with some 160 partitions.
My previous "go to" load was the 175gr Hornady powered with 7828 at 2850-2900. Kudude |

| I hope you'll consider my 280 Rem close enough....I like the Hornady 154 interlock for deer and if I was to go bigger I'd head for the Northfork website.

| The RL-22 is a great powder for the 7 mag. I currently shoot 175 Hornadys at 2800 fps. They hit the same point of impact as Noslers loaded the same. I use the Hornadys for sight-in and deer and the Noslers for elk. Nothing walks away with either load. I used 160 grain Barnes years ago and loved them, but my second rifle doesn't like them and I wanted an interchangeable load. |
