It's a terrible problem. I will solve it by giving you $600.00 for your rifle .

I bought a .280 and a .338 a couple of years ago when Galyan's had them on clearance. Both were very accurate and I liked everything about them except for the magazine. I liked the looks of the mag because it looked like a regular floorplate, but mine were sort of picky about installing them just right and They were not as well made as the rest of the gun. If you want spare mags you have to send your gun in to have them fitted to the action. I think these are awsome guns for the money ( especially $600 ). BTW the barrels are Lothar Walther and the trigger was a special order job from shillen. A very few of the first guns have Dakota stamped on the receiver. I believe the owner's manual said it was ok to single feed straight into the chamber. Nice Find! Good shooting, Weagle

I have a Beretta Mato synthetic in 30-06 that I paid $500 for new, a local gun shop had it on clearance. I can load my the rifle with the magazine inserted through the ejection port just like a standard Remington or Winchester. I love the rifle, I just wish that Beretta would ship magazines without having them fitted to the rifle. The magazine cost $50 plus an extra $40 to fit it.
