I stopped in at a local gunshop and ran across a new Mark X .270 with a factory camo stock. They are asking 375.00 for it. I know that the Interarms rifles are quality, what do you think about the price?

FYI, they also have a left handed Remington .270 w/ the factory synthetic stok (McMillian?) sporting a Zeiss Diavari C 3x9x36 scope for 575.00. Had it been right handed it wouldn't still be there.

I haven't seen one in a factory camo stock but Mk X's never seem to go for much under $500 around here, also check the auction sites and that will give you a better idea. I bet that Zeiss scope is worth the $575, then you can sell the rifle to someone who stands on the wrong side and make a bunch of your monry back.

A local shop here has a used one for 325. I keep going in to look at it and trying to figure out how to use it. Has an ugly blond stock, but a CZ action. I would like to make a 280 of it but I have some already.

Browningguy and Cowboy thanks for the replys. Its good to hear from a couple of fellow Texans (I'm a recent transplant to Fort Collins, CO). I'm thinking of picking up the Remington just for the scope and using the rifle as a trade piece.

The Mark X is camo all over including the barreled action. Just not my cup of tea.
