Anybody done any expansion testing on the Russian 7.62x39mm hollow point ammo, e.g. Wolf, Barnaul?

Is there a difference in using steel jacketed cartridges? I think most of the Wolf ammo has cases made of milled steel...

Don't get confused comparing Wolfe to Barnaul...the Barnaul are 150 fps faster and much more accurate. Their HPs expand very well, but with a lot of lost weight. The SPs are the same price, but in a semi auto I think the tips get deformed and it hurts accuracy.

Barnaul's what I've got. Didn't know there was that much difference ballistically. Haven't chronied them myself. (Or done any expansion testing beyond seeing that they blow up a water-filled milk jug nicely.) Thanks!
