I went to a gunshop yesterday to buy a rifle (Tikka T3 lite). They called it in and I was approved. Then I reached for my wallet and realized I had taken most of my cash out; so I did not have enough money. (I had it at home in a drawer 40 min. awayand they closed in 30). I told them I would be back on Monday. On Monday when I go back am I obligated to buy that rifle because they called it in or can I switch to another one?

I would offer to pay for the second transfer. Don't know why you wouldn't want the Tikka T3 lite. I got one afew weeks ago in 300wsm and it's a great shooter and so far 3 shot groups are about 5/8". Not bad for a 6.6lb rifle. I might buy another one. Well good luck.

They did not call the rifle in. They called you in. You are approved to purchase a firearm from that dealer so you can purchase a different firearm or several firearms on that approval #. There is a place on the back of the form where they fill in the date if you take ownership on a date different than the original approval date. You are not obligated to purchase any firearm.
Good shooting,
