I noticed that weatherby is back to making their accumark in .30-378 for leftys. I remember hearing horror stories that the originals did not shoot very well? Was this true? If so did they fix the problem? Always wanted one but was afraid to buy, any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. " Knowledge without experience is just information. " - Mark Twain | ||

I wish I could give you first hand info on the lefty models but my only experience is with the righty Accumark in 338-378. It's decently accurate with the original factory 225 grain Barnes X loads. It took a little bit to find the sweet spot with the Barnes triple shocks of various flavors but in the long run I found a very accurate load. You might ask this question at www.weatherby.dk. There are a bunch of guys there that know these rifles inside and out. Ken.... "The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn't so.
