I prefer Nosler Part., but have had good results with Interlocks. Out of my 264, 140 NP are 3150 fps and 129 gr Interocks are 3170. I have harvested 5 cow elk with the rifle, shots from 40 to 250 yds, 3 with NPs and 2 with Interlocks. All were shot through the shoulders and the bullets were under the hide on the offside. The recoverd NPs averaged 85 grs and the Interlocks 65 grs no horror stories here.

I am going to put together a 338 for elk this fall and will load 250 NPs. The 264 has never failed me, but there is never an exit wound and sooner are later that will result in a lost elk. But for the 264 I am going buy two boxes of 129 interlocks and shoot deer for the next twenty years with them, a Texas whitetail is not very hard to kill.
