I am looking for a match grade barrel for my savage 110. It is currently chambered for 30-06 but I have noticed many places only offer 308 so I will probably go with the 308.

What barrel do you all suggest?

I am shooting 500yards benchrest. I want a heavy barrel with a compensator.

I have had good luck with Douglas XX air-guaged.
They will chamber anything you want. They do chrome-moly or stainless.

Pacnor, Shilen, Lothar-Walther also make prefit Savage barrels.
